Work in Progress

Some quick and dirty demos currently being messed around with for the INMD project. Support for simple Ruby markup support is provided in IE7 but the xhtml+ruby extension for Firefox is the only way I've found to view complex Ruby currently. Many of these pages are pulling up images via Flickr etc so expect delays. IE7 doesn't display complex Ruby well.

Flickr, Bliss and Ruby markup

Flickr Grid simple search using the Flickr API to bring up images which may symbolise particular words or concepts. Its almost random since Flickr's user generated tagging is chaotic. The page pulls up a number of images based on different filters and scope. Created just to see what happens in a fully automated and dumb interface - generally a useful ideograph will emerge from one of the searches.

Flickr Concept another implementation allowing the symbol concept and keywords to be provided separately to the text supported - lateral thinking often required, but even something this simple produces surprising results at times.

Simple Bliss is another dumb interface matching text to a small library of static Bliss symbols while using Flickr search as a fallback.
